Jon Jader’s farm sits on the southern slopes of Guacacallo in Huila, Colombia. The farm spans 12 hectares and is planted with a wide range of varieties, including Gesha, Pink Bourbon, Ombligon, Yellow Bourbon, Wush Wush, and SL28.
Jon is methodical in his approach to farming and processing, ensuring consistent quality harvest after harvest. This particular SL28 was hand-picked, floated in hard water to prevent leaching, and then carefully dried under filtered light to preserve the coffee’s natural sweetness and jammy fruit characteristics.
