We do our very best to dispatch your order as soon as we possibly can. Once it is with our courier provider, we cannot speed up the delivery times as this is out of our control.
There is no mucking around with our dispatch team! All orders will be sent out within 24 - 48hours. From our Dispatch HQ in Byron Bay, you can expect most standard delivery orders to major metro areas to take up to 2-5 business once it's left our hands. Regional or Rural areas may take a little longer, but it's worth the wait, trust us. The good news is, coffee needs to rest a minimum of 2-3 days (& preferably up to 7-10 days) after roast to allow gases to escape the beans. So don't worry if you're looking at a 5 day delivery timeframe - that just means the coffee will be ready to brew when it arrives.
We do not ship on public holidays or weekends. Our team needs a couple days of R and R from time to time.
You can view the expected network delivery speeds via your order confirmation email, or by reaching out to us.
All orders are dispatched with a tracking number. This is emailed to you once your order has been shipped.
If you have any questions about your order please don't hesitate to Contact Us.
If you'd like to activate authority to leave unattended, please say so in the comment section when you place your order. Otherwise, you can collect from your local Post Office after an attempted delivery at your convenience.
Unfortunately we can not accept returns of coffee or ground coffee as it’s a fresh product and bagged to each order. But sing out and we can ensure you enjoy your Loma moment. We are all human after all, if we’ve made a mistake with your order, we’ll replace it with the one you were after. Give us a holla at support@lomacoffee.co and we will sort you out.

Of course! Anything to do with your subscription can be managed in your subscription portal. Simply log in and change your details in the My Details section.
If you would like to change the type of coffee or grind for your next order you can manage this in your portal, important to note that whatever you change it to will remain the same until you make a change again.
With our blends that's easy! Our single origin filter or espresso subscriptions are continually rotating through various coffee that is hand selected by our team and unfortunately we will only ever have limited volume of each, it's epic to mix it up and try new ones, trust us, they are all good. Once it’s gone it's gone, don’t worry even we shed a tear whenever we find that banger and go to order some more and it's all snatched up to.
Unfortunately with the way our subscription service is set up, these items will need to be ordered individually. We only offer subscriptions for our coffee, which is something we always need more of anyway!
Look, we don’t want to see you go, but we also aren’t going to force you to hang around like the old gym membership schemes. Jump into your subscription portal and manage it from there. We have a minimum of 3 orders before you can cancel, but you can pause or skip whenever you please. We want you to have it set up so it works for you.
The difference between espresso roast and filter roast lies in their intended brewing methods and flavour profiles. Espresso roast is typically a darker style of roast and more finely ground, suited for the intense pressure and rapid extraction of espresso machines, resulting in a bold and concentrated flavour profile. In contrast, filter roast is lighter and coarser, tailored for slower drip or immersion methods, yielding a more delicate taste experience.
Single Origin means that the coffee beans sourced from a single specific region, typically from a single farm, estate, or cooperative within that region. A Single Origin Coffee highlights the unique characteristics of the individual coffee, such as flavour profile, aroma, and growing conditions, which are influenced by the specifics of the origin.
A blend is generally made up of two or more coffees in certain ratios to combine particular flavours to achieve the end result of what the blend is intended for; a blend can be for both espresso and filter. Eg. Our Golden Hour Blend has been formulated to be used as espresso. It has 2 coffees that both taste very different on their own but together we've found the magic golden hour moment. You can find the information on all our blends on their individual product pages.
A coffee recipe is often referred to as Dose, Yield, Time or a ratio. A recipe is created as a guideline for how we think the coffee is tasting at its best using the machinery we have. There are no rules in coffee though and we urge everyone to have fun with it and work out how you enjoy it the most on your own set ups.
There are so many variables in making a coffee, especially in the home environment. If you follow our recipe guide as close as you can and you're in for a good time. Don't stress if it’s not precise, it’ll still be great! As we said earlier, coffee should be fun, there are no rules.
Treat your coffee like a fresh product – buy small amounts frequently. Keep it airtight in the pantry or cupboard (not the fridge!) and try to avoid exposure to heat, light, moisture and oxygen. This will give you the best shelf life and keep it tasting great!
Your beans are ideal within 3 weeks from roast. There are exceptions and it will still taste great post 3 weeks, but this is the general go. Note this doesn’t include ground coffee, which is ideal immediately after being ground.
Wait 7-10 days from roast, minimum, particularly if using an espresso machine. Generally our blend coffees will be aged around 7 days when we send it out.
If it has been ground for one particular brewing device, it’s not going to be ideal to use between different brew devices. Grind coarseness varies for each brew method and there’s nothing interchangeable about it. If you have filter beans and you want to run some through your V60, and some through your espresso machine, that’s fine, it just won't be the best it can be as espresso. You’ll achieve the magic if you select a coffee that's roasted specifically for the brew method it’s intended for.
